Work Grant Program

All students receiving Financial Aid will have the option to participate in the Work Grant program. Your award includes an optional 35-hour work grant in the amount of $500. You will have the option to decline the work grant award in which case your award amount will be reduced by $500. Work Grant opportunities include before or after school, break periods or lunch, single project events or during the summer. Students working over the summer will work 35 hours over a two-week period. Students working during the year will be assigned one thirty-hour assignment and one event such as Spruce Up or Open House.

Examples of Work Opportunities:

  • Office
  • Facilities
  • Library
  • Grounds
  • Art & Ceramics
  • Athletic Trainer
  • Spring or Fall Spruce-up

The Regis Jesuit Work Grant program provides an opportunity to earn additional funds as part of the financial aid award. It is imperative that both students and parents have an understanding of how the program works and are fully committed to completing their Work Grant obligations. Failure to meet this obligation may result in the loss of any future financial aid award.

The variety of Work Grant opportunities provide the ability for students to fulfill their commitment without interfering with their academics. Work Grant assignments take priority over sports, clubs or other school activities.
